Happy Friday, friends! Welcome to ALL THE SPARKLE! I was so jazzed when I saw the theme of Lawnscaping Challenge #130: Sparkle It Up! I knew this was the perfect opportunity to finally ink up the darling Fairy Friends stamp set and get my glitter on!
I created a set of six cards by first inking up some white Neenah panels with six inks from Simon Says Stamp - Cotton Candy, Audrey Blue, Coral Reef, Goldenlocks, Maliblue, and Sunshine - and then using my super sparkly Bo Bunny Sugar Glitter paste over a stencil to add some glitter-tastic polka dots!
For my lovely fairies I used VersaFine Black Oynx pigment ink and then heat embossed them with some pearlescent embossing powder. I absolutely loved the unexpected silvery blue color that the black ink turned under this embossing powder and decided to use the same combo for heat embossing my sentiments on some vellum.
I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the little ladies. My local craft store started carrying the Zig pens individually so I've been using this super handy blog post by Jennifer McGuire to determine which colors are not sold in the 60 pack and pad my collection a bit. Some of these colors are really filling in some gaps and I am really pleased!
Each sparkly panel was popped up on my card base with a little Perfectly Plaid paper poking out the side and topped with a Fairy Friend! I love how this set turned out! Make sure you go enter the Lawnscaping Challenge and get your sparkle on! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time! Bye!
