Hi, all and happy Monday! I am so excited to be kicking off this week as the guest designer for The Greeting Farm! I absolutely love the images from this fabulous company and was so giddy with happiness when Claudie reached out and asked me to join her team as a guest! Um, adorable fairies for autumn? Yes, please!!
So I'd had this Little Fairies stamp set hanging out in my craft room for awhile and I just hadn't had the opportunity to use it yet so this was absolutely perfect! I wanted to create a fall scene with this set (because I'm pretty one-track minded when to comes to fall at the moment) and decided to use some lovely jewel tones and gold embossing to set the scene.
I'm having a blast picking out autumn Distress Ink colors and for this project I used Seedless Preserves, Crushed Olive and just a touch of Rusty Hinge and some Aged Mahogany splatters. Throw in my new fave gold embossing powder, Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold, and you have fall time perfection! I love how it looks like the sweet fairy's lantern is lighting up the dusky harvest night! So much fun!
Thank you guys so much for joining me for this special The Greeting Farm post! I will have another guest designer project for them on October 3rd so be sure to stop by then! See you next time! Bye!
