VIDEO Curl E. Q&A: September 2016 ~ Wildfire Season, Upcoming Destash and My Favorite Coloring Medium

Hi all!  Can you believe it is time for another Curl E. Q&A video already??  I feel like I just posted one!  But at the same time I feel like it has been forever since I posted one!  Oy!  I just got back from a week out of town for work and so I really missed you all (and the posting date for this video!) so I wanted to share a bit about what I was doing on my work assignment and get caught up!  I truly do miss the interaction with you when I am not able to do a video or be on social media for awhile!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful questions!  I tried to answer most of them with return comments as they were regarding my video process that I shared in August.  If you want to chat more, just let me know!

Don't forget to leave me some new questions to answer in October! I'm so looking forward to the start of fall/winter crafting and my upcoming Handmade Halloween video series!  It's just my very favorite time of year!  Thank you all so much and I'll see you soon!  Bye!

  2. Hi Tara, I have a question about your cards. How do you come up with the ideas to make your cards? Like, what stamps you're going to use, colors, layout (especially the layout). Sometimes I have in mind what stamp set and what colors I want to use, but can't seem to figure out a layout. Thanks for your videos - I really enjoy watching them all and I'm constantly on your blog looking for more! LOL My husband thinks I have a problem!!!! :)

    1. Hello and than you so much for your kind words!! I think all of our husbands think we have a bit of problem when it comes to our addiction to craft videos! I stream mine through the Chromecast onto the big TV so the whole family gets to watch!! I am so sorry it is taking me so long to get back to you on this! I am super in the moment when I create cards. I don't often do much pre planning but like you, layout is the biggest challenge for me. So unless a layout just springs to mind (depending on the stamp set that might happen, rarely but miracles to happen!) I usually will jump on Instagram and get some inspiration from my fellow crafters for placement of items on a card. Or I love using sketch challenges like the MFT Sketch Challenge because I feel like it does the hard part for me! I talk about this in my first Q&A video also if you are interested in checking that out! I hope that helps! If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask and I"m happy to help with what I can! Thanks again!
