Happy Thursday, all! Welcome back to another day of my week as Growing In Unity girl! For Day 4 I have a fun emboss resist card to share with you. Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win 25 random Unity stamps of your very own! There will be TWO WINNERS - will it be you??
For this card I used the Gypsy Journal Love Myself Today stamp set. This set has so many adorable, doodley images to play with! They would be perfect for using in a journal, planner or on mixed media. I heat embossed a few of the images and a sentiment in clear embossing powder on a piece of distress watercolor cardstock. I then masked off the edge and used my Distress Inks to add some grass and sky color.
Using my Distress Sprayer I added some fun water droplets to add texture to the background. The tulips are colored in with some Stardust Gelly Roll pens. I finished the scene with some little die cut clouds and popped the whole piece on some pink cardstock to match the flowers.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the final day of my week as the Growing in Unity girl! Leave a comment for your chance to win and I'll see you all tomorrow! Bye!

So sweet and very cool technique.
ReplyDeleteThinking of getting the distress sprayer but curious if it really works differently than other water sprayers? Love these colors! Tfs.
ReplyDeleteWell actually I know they are only like 6 or 7 dollars but that's like 1/2 of a stamp set right? Now that I'm addicted this is how I view spending. It took 2 stamp sets to fill up my car yesterday!! lol. Maybe someone else knows what I mean.
ReplyDeleteSo Fresh and Pretty!! I love that it is so "random" with the very precise line of dots below. Perfect balance, really pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I've just started water coloring and it's so fun!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I'm still trying to get my ink blending right. I need a distress sprayer. My little spray bottle sprays a nice even mist so it just doesn't lift the ink. TFS
ReplyDeleteTotally charming card! I adore emboss resist and yours looks wonderful with the white embossing and the lovely colors!
