Mint Owl Studio: Adding Texture with Sparkle featuring Sweet Treats

Hello, all!  Hope you've been having a fabulous week!  Today I am sharing a sweet thank you card featuring Sweet Treats from Mint Owl Studio!  I am late to the donut parade but I'm finally here and couldn't resist adding lots of sparkle to these adorable little guys!

I started by using some Bo Bunny Sugar glitter paste (one of my fave go to items) and the new Sprinkles stencil.  Using some light pink card stock made me feel like the entire card was actually a giant, pink frosted donut!  I love the look of the clear sparkly sprinkles on the pink.  Nice and subtle for a background but still really eye catching and glittery.

I stamped the donuts on some Bristol Smooth White card stock and used my beloved Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers (colors are listed in supplies below) to color them in.  The frosting is sparkled up with some Neon Flamingo Stickles.  I always forget about my Stickles but when I bust it out I just fall in love all over again!

My sentiment was die cut three times and stacked to create a dimensional word.  I used the 'sweetie' from the 'thanks, sweetie!' sentiment in the stamp set and just embossed the part I needed since I was using the die cut word.  I think the black helps to offset all the fun pink.  And my craft room is black and pink so I'm a little partial to that color combo!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and I'll see you all again soon!  Thanks so much!  Bye!
