VIDEO: Rainbow Distress Ink Background featuring Lawn Fawn So Smooth

Hello again, crafty friends!  I just can't seem to stop playing with the fabulous new Lawn Fawn release!  Today I'm using the So Smooth stamp set to create a vibrant, tropical rainbow card just right for warm weather and sunshine!

I used some clear embossing powder that has some glitter in it to stamp the drink umbrella all over some distress watercolor cardstock.  This created a resist when I used my Distress Inks to blend a tropical rainbow right over the top!  Add a few water drops and some Picket Fence Distress Spray drops and you got yourself a background!  I used my blender pen and the same Distress Inks I created the background with the color in two of the drink glasses.  I thought this went perfectly with the Scripty Cheers die cut!

After using Seedless Preserves Distress Ink to create an ombre effect on one of my cheers die cuts I coated the entire thing in VersaMark and sprinkled the same glittery embossing powder over the top.  This gave my sentiment a fun shiny sparkle!  Layering up five of the sentiment die cuts created some great dimension, too!  The vellum circle behind the elements really helps to make them stand out on that vibrant background.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  I am entering it in the Lawnscaping Challenge #131: Off Kilter if you'd like to play along!  See you again soon for more crafty fun!  Bye!
