VIDEO: Vellum Overlay with a Watercolor Background featuring MFT Build-able Bouquet

Happy Wednesday, crafters!  Can you even handle that it is the first day of June??  Hubby and Kiddo are out of school soon!  It's always bittersweet for me when summer comes because I have to go to work everyday while they stay home and have fun.  I mean, I'm happy for them but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bitter . . .

Tonight I'm sharing a project that I actually made about a month ago and just now got around to editing the video for.  I had the idea to create a vellum overlay using the MFT Build-able Bouquet stamp set and put it over a loose and freeform watercolor background.

This card was really fun to create and it pushed my creative boundaries.  I'm an accountant by day (the Clark Kent to my crafty Superman!) and sometimes I struggle with techniques that don't stay inside the lines.  But I firmly believe that it is a good, healthy thing to push oneself on occasion, to get inspired and just go for it.  I strive to not get tied down by the concept of what is or isn't "me" so when I see all of the amazing creations out there using loose, gorgeous watercolors I really want to play along!

I hope you enjoyed this project! I'll be back tomorrow with a project for Mint Owl Studios!  Have a great rest of your week and I'll see you soon! Bye!
