Good evening and Happy Monday, crafters! I gotta tell ya, this time change has me all outta whack today! I could not fall asleep last night and it was SOOO early when I had to wake up. I felt like a zombie - which was not awesome since I started my new job today! Woo hoo!! So far it's shaping up to be a great spot for me so I'm jazzed to keep learning new stuff!
So tonight's card is a bit of a switch for me since there is not one drop of coloring! Layered stamping is big right now and it's a great technique since it allows you to have a really finished, artistic image without having to have any coloring skills whatsoever! All you have to do is line up the stamps. It's pretty genius. And the MISTI makes it even easier, if you can believe it!
I created my own patterned paper with this lovely stamp set from Close to My Heart. This particular set is no longer available so I've linked to a current layering stamp set that is the same concept, just different flowers. If you've had your eye on any CTMH stamp sets, now is the time to act!! For the entire month of March, all stamp sets are BUY TWO, GET ONE FREE!! It's a great opportunity to stock up, and the sets in the current Seasonal Expressions catalog are pretty amazing. So hope over to my website and check it out!
I finished up the card with a custom sentiment and some Lawn Fawn patterned paper. Pretty Pink Posh sequins and Wink of Stella were the icing on the cake and this card is done!! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this project! With any luck, I'll have another video for you this week. Between starting a new job, my sister getting married in a month, and my best friend's baby turning one this week, I've been a busy bee! But I've got another project filmed so I'm going to try and find the time to edit and post it. See you all next time! Bye!
