Hi there, all! So sorry it has been FOREVER since I have posted. April was a bit of a crazy, chaotic month for me. First, my sister got married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (she was the most beautiful bride in the history of the world) so we spent a week in Mexico. Next, we got home and I was attached by a particularly aggressive and nasty flu bug, causing me to spend a week out of work, in bed, not crafting. THEN when I finally healed and went back to work I promptly headed out of town for a work trip for three days. I'm finally all settled, healthy, and crafting again! So I've spent this last week crafting up a storm and now I have all this raw video footage to edit so hopefully I can start pumping out the videos!
Anyway, today's card is totally cute! I'm a bit enamored with these little Clearly Besotted dragons, I can't lie! I used Copic markers to color them and my Scan'N'Cut to cut them out. The extra details are done with the Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen, a white Signo Uni Ball Gel Pen, and a black Gelly Roll Glaze pen.
I used a bunch of super cute Pretty Pink Posh products and a sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp to create a nice and simple layout that allowed me to show off the coloring on the baby dragons. Channeling my inner Laura Bassen (if you haven't watched her videos you are totally missing out - she is one of my main inspirations for how I film and narrate, I love her!!) and did some ink blending on my card base with a Mama Elephant pigment ink. She's totally right, they do blend like butta!
I hope you enjoyed this card! Stay tuned for more in the very near future! In the meantime, go subscribe to the Mint Owl Studio YouTube channel! I'm on their design team (YAY!!) and have videos posting up over there at least twice a month! As always, supplies are linked below. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you next time!
