VIDEO: TupeloDesignsLLC: Simple Watercolor Background featuring WPlus9

Good morning to you all!  I hope you're finding time to relax and unwind after a fun and festive holiday.  Today is the championship game for our fantasy football league and Hubby is a contender for the title this year so it should be an eventful day in the Sell house!  Today I'm sharing a really simple, quick card that you can create for any occasion using some great products from TupeloDesignsLLC.

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to scribble some color on a piece of cold press watercolor paper and then grabbed my water brush to blend all of the colors together.  To add interest, I did a "lather, rinse, repeat" and added more color on top of the original color to make it more vibrant.

Once I was happy with my background I heat embossed some WPlus9 Doodle Buds over the background using white embossing powder.  I just love how it pops against the color!  A little coordinating washi provides the perfect addition to the popped up watercolor panel and I finished it all off with some Moonshine sequins to add a little sparkle.

This card was super quick and fun to put together!  January holds lots of fun for TupeloDesignsLLC so be sure to stop back by my YouTube channel on January 4th for a video hop with lots of inspiration from the design team, a look at the one year celebration of TupeloDesignsLLC, and some GIVEAWAYS!!  Until then, have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!  Bye!

  1. Very pretty Tara. I just recently got the 48 pack of the Zig pens so I am trying to learn how best to use them. TFS this and I hope you do more in 2016 with them.
