Hi guys! I'm back with my fourth and final project as the December Guest Designer for Paper Smooches. I gotta tell ya, this has been such an incredibly fun experience! Kim and the entire Paper Smooches team are so kind and talented and it was an honor to spend a month with them!
For today's project I once again used to too cute for words Boom Bots stamp set but this time I used it to create my first Valentine's Day card of the year! This design is a bit out of my comfort zone because I don't know if you noticed but there is NO COLORING on this card AT ALL!! I know, craziness. But I really liked the idea of a black, white, and pink and thought these little bots could hold their own.
The fun part of this card is the partial die cutting that allows the bots to be attached to the ground their standing on but have the rest of them cut out. To do this, I used the coordinating Boom Bots dies and lined up the end of my Big Shot cutting plate with the line that I wanted to be the ground. The trick is to have pressue on the dies from both sides where you want them to cut and on only one side where you do not want them to cut. To see this in action, check out the video linked below.
So that is it for this project! A big thank you to Kim and the Paper Smooches team for having me this month and for the adorable products to play with! Thanks so much for joining me this evening. I will be back either today or tomorrow with my TupeloDesignsLLC Design Team Haul for January to share some fun goodies with you all. Also, in my last blog/video I asked if you would be interested in seeing some videos on how I organize my supplies and you all responded with an overwhelming YES! So keep an eye out for those to start popping up as well. Have a great evening and I'll see you soon! Bye!

For the record, it sure didn't sound like you were going to, if that helps. I really enjoy your videos. You are clear and explain things very well. I also enjoy your humor as well. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteCute card. I came to you from Tupelo, but I can't find anywhere to subscribe to your blog. How do I do that?
ReplyDeletewell, all that information became available after I entered a comment. Couldn't see any of that stuff on the right side til then. So now I have subscribed!
